This is just a little animation I did today for a screen test. I just put a really simple background in for now.

Practice Background

I'm just messing around in Flash at the moment, using textures that I painted. I'm liking this autumn colour scheme so far!

cultural event

First week back in college and our first assignment was to attend a cultural event and create an image in response to it. I went to Electric Picnic a few weeks back and the image above was inspired by Florence and the Machine and the last song she played You've Got the Love. I also wanted to get that 'boutique' style the festival has into the image.

Ms. Beasly, you're trying to seduce me...

Anyone who knows me well knows I am worringly obssessed with The Office (US). And so is my friend John, so I made him a The Office/The Graduate themed card for his 21st...

Donnacha goes for a walk...

I've never actually done a two-legged walk so I thought I'd give it a bash...

Donnacha says hello!

I have fractured my leg in a horrific playground accident! But between catching up on some important DVD watching and reading trashy woman novels I found the time to make this little guy, who I am christening Donnacha in honour of my brand new baby cousin...

In other news Rat Race has made it into the Galway Film Fleadh. Yay! But I won't be there to witness its fantastic reception because of this darned cast. Boo.

Awkward Lift Scene From "Rat Race"

Rat Race is basically about two guys who think they are both up for a promotion and are racing to the office in order to secure the position. I won't ruin the ending, but let's just say it is reflective of our recessionary times... In this scene the two characters are forced to share the lift after previously racing to the building, so it's terribly awkward. I'd like to think of this scene as the emotional core of the film...Ha! Apologies about the piss poor quality and the background isn't in yet...

Zoo Drawings

I was very taken with the spider monkeys...

Just a few peices that I've done in the last year...
